RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM PAKAR UNTUK DIAGNOSA KERUSAKAN PADA MOTOR MATIC DENGAN METODE FORWARD CHAINING

AbstractWorld today is increasingly developing techniques along with the development of technology, it is seen also in the automotive industry, especially in the two-wheeler automotive industry / motorcycle. From year to year, two-wheeler manufacturers constantly innovate the products they produce. If we observe, the development of today's motorcycles follow the trend in driving comfort, as evidenced by the issuance of a motor with CVT technology / Continuously Variable transmition which is a gearbox technology on an ongoing basis in accordance with the rotation speed of the engine. This study emphasized on the diagnosis of the problems that occur on a motorcycle, especially Honda Vario CVT technology or better known as the motor matic to specialize in the transmission / CVT. Methods of data collection research began using the method of observation, and the literature or known to the literature. The design of an expert system to detect damage to the motor is made by using the forward chaining method with the Microsoft Visual Basic programming language is a programming language which is made for creating applications, currently drafting its database using Microsoft Access. The expert system makes it easy for users matic motor to determine damage to the motor maticnya in depth and determine any kind of spare parts that should be replaced by the appropriate application of damage symptoms. Open up their knowledge of what components are contained on the motor matic and ultimately consumers are satisfied with the application.
